Wonder Woman II by J-Skipper Wonder Woman II by J-Skipper
Got this done pretty quick (8hrs after the inks were uploaded). Jim lee and Joe Vitzen makes a great combo for coloring! Hope you like it! Let me know what you think of this in the comments. :)

Sorry about the box in the corner, that's the way the inks were.

It's a beautiful pic. I have this WW pic on a t-shirt from a local comic book shop and this coloring looks exactly like my shirt. It's an awesome job with the vibrancy and shading work. I love the "invisible" jet showing transparency, yet it's defined very well.
Would be great in a wallpaper style pic, too:love:

Thank you so much! yeah, this piece took a while but it really helps when the pencilist and the inkist are both amazing at what they do! I appreciate the comment! :D

Coloring the invisible plane is always a great challenge for a colorist.  Grand job!

My biggest piece if advice to you would to be... Slow down.

Take some more time on working on the image, try different things and see how they look, then decide on which to go for. It's not like you have a "due date" to get this done by. This way you'll be able to produce a more refined image, learn techniques and methods for various effects, and then know how to incorporate them in future pictures.

Having said that, the jet looks great here, the clouds not so much. They're too strong and photo looking to me. WW's skin tones look too orange and the muscle definition and shape isn't there. Her lasso is too yellow, so make it the same colour as the colour hold of the lines and then put a selective glow over it on top of the linear (hard light or screen mode for the layer, whichever looks better, and don't forget you can adjust the opacity!)

Well first, Thank you for your input. I may go kinda fast but I never upload an image before I think that it's the best I can do. Also I spent 8 hours on this piece I just had a lot of free time today.
I don't think the problem is that I do it too fast I think the problem is that after coloring something for 8 hours you start to lose fresh perspective.

I do experiment and try different things (in fact the orangeish skin tone was an experiment - obviously not a successful one). maybe not as much as other people but my method is to look up tutorials and color refs and see what other people have done.

Thank you! you probably like it (The Jet) because it's gradients. So I toned down the clouds, change her skin tones, added some more definition to her muscles and made the lasso less yellow (even though her lasso is supposed to be yellow). So how does it look now?
