I read a Book titled "The DC Comics Guide to Coloring and Lettering" and in that book it stated that the best colorists use a mixture of techniques: Gradients, Cut edge and Airbrush. So I incorporated All three into this Image. I hope you like it!
I had started this about three months ago (when I was still using dodge and burn - ick!) and half way through the process I started using a new coloring process (painting white and black to lighten and darken - more ick!), so I restarted it. And about halfway through coloring it again I found an easier and better way to color comics (the normal way - Gradients/Cut edge/Airbrush), So, I gave up. Since then, I have gotten better and I feel I can now color this without ruining it.
