I got request after request to do a video showing my coloring process. Well, I finally got around to recording one of my colorings and it just finished uploading to Youtube. So here it is:
This is the first recording of my comic coloring process using Photoshop CS6 and a Wacom intous5. It is the recorded coloring of a Commission I got from Collette Turner
pencils by Collette
Inks by Nicki
Colors by Me
This is sped up to x6 speed. if I get the time I will upload the full 5 hour version, but no guarantees.
This ended up being a lot more work to produce than I had originally though it would be. So, if I do another one of these it won't be for a while.
Also, this was uploaded on a super old account so you can just ignore any other videos on the channel.
As always this is just my way of coloring, there is no right or wrong way of coloring, everyone has their own techniques. You're welcome to copy some of my techniques as long as you make sure that your colorings are your own, and have there own unique look, in the end.
If you have any questions about the video, feel free to ask!
Also On a Side note:My younger brother started a Youtube account about outdoorsie things a few months back and I've been meaning to give you guys the link to give him a little more exposure, just in case you guys are interested. He has worked very hard to learn how to survive in the wild, with little to no equipment, make fires, shelters and do other survival assorted tasks, oh and I even made the intro music for him. So, any and all views, likes, comments and subscriptions you could give him would be greatly appreciated! Just think of it like one of my art features, only for videos. You guys are the best!! Thanks!
